Lego exhibition in Speyer museum features mini Dom and Nürburgring

The Historic Museum of the Palatinate in Speyer is hosting a large‑scale Lego exhibition created in partnership with Lego‑Germany and the association Lauter Steine. Spread over more than 1 300 m², the display includes a detailed miniature of the Speyer Cathedral – the first section of the nave will be shown at the opening on 3 October 2026, with a full replica planned for completion by 2030 using roughly 1.2 million bricks.

A second highlight is a 4.8‑metre‑long replica of the Nürburgring start‑finish straight, built by a group of youths. Visitors can also explore themed builds such as Star Wars and Harry Potter, and take part in interactive digital play zones. The exhibition runs from 3 October 2026 until 17 October 2027.
