LEGO launches official X‑Files set with Gillian Anderson promotion
LEGO announced the official LEGO Ideas The X‑Files set (item 21369) for release in early August 2026. The 1,478‑piece model recreates Agent Fox Mulder’s underground FBI office and a forest scene with a hovering UFO, packed with Easter‑egg details such as the “I Want to Believe” poster, pencils in the ceiling and a sunflower‑seed reference. It includes eight minifigures – Mulder, Dana Scully, Walter Skinner, Mr. X, Alex Krycek, Carl Busch, the Flukeman and a grey alien. Prices are €199.99 (≈$200) and the set is available to LEGO Insiders from 1 August, with a general launch on 4 August. A limited‑time Gift‑with‑Purchase – the Scully’s Lab mini‑set (221 pieces) – is offered to orders placed between 1 and 10 August. The design originated from fan Brent Waller’s entry in the LEGO Ideas 90s Nostalgia Challenge and was promoted with a short video featuring actress Gillian Anderson reprising her role as Scully.
