LEGO launches 1,794‑piece SpongeBob Bikini Bottom set

LEGO’s Icons line introduced a new SpongeBob SquarePants set featuring 1,794 pieces. The set recreates the underwater neighborhood of Bikini Bottom with a pineapple‑shaped house for SpongeBob, Squidward’s home, Patrick’s rock, a section of Jellyfish Fields and a boatmobile. Five minifigures are included: SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Gary the snail and the newly added DoodleBob.

The set ships on 1 September 2026 at a retail price of $219.99. It follows a similar 2006 LEGO Bikini Bottom set (#3827) but offers far greater detail, a larger piece count and updated character designs—most notably Squidward’s figure, now rendered in a turquoise‑green hue that matches the cartoon.

The release has been highlighted by collectors for its nostalgic appeal and the expanded building experience it provides to fans of the series and LEGO enthusiasts alike.
