LEGO launches collectible E.T. set for adult fans on Aug. 1, 2026

LEGO announced that the iconic alien from Steven Spielberg’s 1982 film will be released as a LEGO Ideas set (number 21370) on 1 August 2026. The model, created from a fan design by French builder “Lafabrick,” contains roughly 1,100‑1,200 pieces and measures about 24 cm tall. It features fully articulated limbs, a 360° rotating head, a pressure‑activated light that illuminates the chest “heart,” and an accessory sunflower‑pot.

The set is aimed at adult collectors (recommended age 18+) and will be sold worldwide. Official prices are £119.99 in the United Kingdom, $139.99 in the United States, €129.99 in the euro zone and MX$2,999 in Mexico, where pre‑orders are already open. The release marks the 45th anniversary of the film and joins LEGO’s recent nostalgia line that also includes characters from The Goonies and Gremlins.
