Lego opens second flagship store in central Prague
Lego has officially opened its second retail location in the Czech Republic, situated at Na Příkopě 25 in the center of Prague. The two-story, 496-square-meter store is the brand's first presence in the city's primary tourist district, following the 2022 opening of a store in the Westfield Chodov shopping center.
The new location features the Minifigure Factory, the first of its kind in the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa (CEEMEA) region. This station allows customers to design and 3D-print custom torsos for minifigures within approximately ten minutes. The store also includes a Pick & Build Wall, where customers can select individual bricks.
To reflect the local culture, the interior showcases large-scale Lego models inspired by Prague, including the Astronomical Clock, a number 23 tram, and a mosaic of Prague Castle. These models were developed with involvement from workers at the Lego factory in Kladno. The store is expected to create 50 new jobs and will be open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
