LEGO partners with Nintendo to launch Donkey Kong Arcade and Game Boy sets

LEGO announced two new sets as part of its ongoing collaboration with Nintendo. The LEGO Donkey Kong Arcade set (product number 72051) is scheduled for release on 1 August 2026, priced at £149.99 and comprising 1,367 pieces. It recreates the original arcade level with a moving barrel mechanism, featuring Jumpman, Donkey Kong, Lady, scaffolding, ladders and a lever‑activated barrel loop, and is marketed to builders aged 18 and over.

The LEGO Game Boy set (product number 72046) will launch on 1 October 2025, priced at €59.99 and containing 421 pieces. It faithfully reproduces the classic gray Game Boy, includes two iconic cartridge replicas – Super Mario Land and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening – and is intended as a static display piece for collectors. Both sets extend the LEGO × Nintendo Super Mario collection that has previously featured tributes to Super Mario, Donkey Kong and the NES.
