LEGO Technic launches Ducati Desmo450 MX set and Mighty Machines collectible series

LEGO Technic expanded its product line with two new releases. The Mighty Machines series, labelled “Series 1”, offers eight tiny construction‑vehicle builds – road roller, wheel loader, dump truck, cement truck, wrecking‑ball crane, excavator, mobile crane and bulldozer – packaged in blind‑box packs containing two of each model. Each vehicle retails for about AU$6.99, £4.49, US$4.99 or €4.99, and the packaging includes QR codes that link to online game cards.

In a separate partnership launch, LEGO and Italian motorcycle maker Ducati introduced Technic set 42238, a detailed replica of Ducati’s first production motocross bike, the Desmo450 MX. The 457‑piece set, recommended for ages 10+, features handle‑bar steering, independent front and rear suspension, and a chain‑driven single‑cylinder engine. It is priced at approximately €60 and will be available internationally from August 1.
