LEGO Announces SpongeBob SquarePants Icons Set for September 2026

LEGO SpongeBob Icons set Bikini Bottom 2026 release BrickHeadz

The LEGO Group will launch a new LEGO Icons set titled SpongeBob SquarePants: Bikini Bottom on 1 September 2026. The 1,794‑piece model recreates the series’ iconic locations – SpongeBob’s pineapple house, Squidward’s Moai‑shaped home, Patrick’s rock and a Jellyfish Fields scene – and includes minifigures of SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Gary and DoodleBob, plus accessories such as the boatmobile and the Bubbles Stand.

A companion LEGO BrickHeadz 40858 SpongeBob Figure, built from 72 pieces, will also be released on the same day. Pricing varies by market: US $219.99, UK £189.99, EU €209.99, Australia AU$349, Canada CAD$309, Singapore SGD$299, and Mexico 5,499 MXN. Pre‑orders are already open through LEGO.com and official LEGO stores.

This marks the first adult‑targeted SpongeBob LEGO set since the original theme ended in 2012, reviving the franchise for nostalgic fans worldwide.
