Lehigh and Toledo secure victories over West Virginia in volleyball

At the West Virginia Invitational, both Lehigh University and the University of Toledo secured notable victories over West Virginia in five-set volleyball matches.

Lehigh defeated the Mountaineers 3-2 (23-25, 25-14, 16-25, 25-23, 15-12), marking the Mountain Hawks' first win against a Power Five opponent since 2018. Alysia Fingall led Lehigh with a career-high 17 kills, while Natalie Luscomb contributed 14 kills and four block assists.

Toledo also secured a 3-2 victory over West Virginia (20-25, 25-21, 25-14, 20-25, 15-11), which was the Rockets' first win over a ‘Power 4’ school since 2022. Sophie Catalano recorded a career-high 20 kills for Toledo. Earlier in the day, Toledo also swept VCU 3-0.
