Lehigh University to host 52nd annual Paul Short Run

The 52nd annual Paul Short Run, presented by ASICS, is scheduled to take place at Lehigh University’s Goodman Campus. The event is split over two days, with high school competitions held on Thursday, Oct. 1, and college races on Friday, Oct. 2.

More than 7,000 athletes from over 600 high schools and colleges are expected to participate across 14 total races. The meet honors the late Paul Short, a former Lehigh business manager and assistant director of athletics.

Among the collegiate participants, the Ohio State men’s and women’s cross country teams will compete in the gold race on Friday. The men’s race is scheduled for 11 a.m., followed by the women’s race at 11:45 a.m. Other notable programs participating include Penn State, Rutgers, Maryland, and Georgetown.
