Lei Jun visits Bilibili headquarters in Shanghai

Xiaomi founder and CEO Lei Jun visited the Bilibili headquarters in Shanghai on September 14. Bilibili Chairman and CEO Chen Rui personally welcomed him, and the headquarters displayed a banner reading “Welcome Bilibili UP Master Lei Jun.”

Lei Jun has a long-standing relationship with the platform. He first interacted with Bilibili in 2016 via the official Xiaomi account, and officially joined as an individual content creator in 2020. The visit follows a history of internet culture connections, including the viral “Are You OK” meme derived from his previous speeches, which Xiaomi later licensed for official use.

Chen Rui and Lei Jun share professional history, as Chen previously served as a technical assistant to Lei during their time at Kingsoft Software.
