Leicester City close to signing Swansea midfielder Liam Cullen

Leicester City are in advanced talks to acquire 27‑year‑old Welsh midfielder Liam Cullen from Swansea City. The move, reported to be around £2 million, would be the club’s third signing of the summer as they rebuild under manager Russell Martin after relegation to League One.

Cullen, a product of Swansea’s academy who has spent 19 years with the Swans, is expected to add EFL experience and give Martin a familiar player as the Foxes aim for promotion. The transfer is not yet finalised, and Leicester’s recruitment is also constrained by reduced revenues following relegation and uncertainty over King Power’s ownership stake.
