Leicester City sign Liam Cullen from Swansea City
Leicester City have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Liam Cullen from Swansea City for a reported seven‑figure fee, marking the club's fourth acquisition of the summer transfer window. Cullen, a product of Swansea’s academy, made more than 200 senior appearances for the Welsh club, scoring five goals in 40 Championship matches last season, most of them as a substitute.
Cullen said the move fits his playing style and praised Leicester’s project, while Swansea described the transfer as a financially beneficial decision that reflects a more ruthless approach to squad rebuilding as they aim to return to the Premier League.
The deal strengthens Leicester’s attacking options for the upcoming League One campaign and provides Swansea with a tidy sum to reinvest in their squad.
