Leicester Tigers defeat Bristol Bears 22-16

Leicester Tigers secured a 22-16 victory over Bristol Bears at Ashton Gate during Round 5 of Premiership Rugby. The win places Leicester at the top of the Gallagher Premiership table.

Bristol opened the scoring through a Louis Rees-Zammit try and subsequent conversion by James Williams. However, Leicester responded with a try from Freddie Steward following a Billy Searle kick. The momentum shifted after Bristol received two yellow cards for Matias Moroni and Tom Jordan, allowing Adam Radwan to score for the Tigers before halftime.

In the second half, Ollie Hassell-Collins extended the Leicester lead, and Jamie Blamire scored a try from a maul to secure a bonus point. Despite three penalty goals from James Williams, Bristol was unable to overcome the deficit.
