Leicester Tigers secure new contract for Billy Searle

Leicester Tigers are securing key personnel ahead of the new season. Fly-half Billy Searle has signed a new contract with the club following a successful debut season where he scored 217 points in 24 appearances.

Additionally, the club is in advanced talks with scrum-half Jack van Poortvliet regarding a long-term agreement. Van Poortvliet, who joined the Tigers' academy at age 12, expressed a strong desire to secure the Premiership title this season following the team's recent semi-final loss to the Northampton Saints. The club is also working to finalize terms with lock Ollie Chessum.
