The Italian League for the Defense of Animals and the Environment (LEIDAA) is launching a solidarity campaign titled ‘Help those who have no voice: animals’ from October 10 to October 17. The initiative aims to raise funds to support stray animals and wildlife.

Proceeds will be used to finance the rescue, care, sheltering, and sterilization of domestic animals without homes, as well as providing assistance to wildlife at the ‘Stella del Nord’ Wildlife Recovery Center (CRAS). The campaign addresses the needs of approximately 700,000 stray dogs and 2.4 million free-roaming cats, alongside injured or sick wild animals such as foxes, birds, and horses.

Donations can be made via SMS to 45587 for 2 euros, or through landline calls for 5 to 10 euros.
