Leidsche Rijn urban project introduces 69 sustainable homes

The Levels urban project in Leidsche Rijn, Utrecht, is being developed to integrate sustainable living with high-quality urban design. The project consists of 69 new homes, including 62 ground-bound units and 7 apartments.

Architectural firms Faro, Hilberinkbosch, and Op ten Noort Blijdenstein/CRKL are designing various housing types within the development. The plan features shared courtyard gardens designed by OKRA landscape architects to promote biodiversity, manage water, and mitigate heat stress. The design includes a continuous parking street located beneath or behind the residences, with walking routes leading through green spaces to communal decks and private outdoor areas.
