Leikfangaland acquired by Stefanía Rós and Stefán Óli

Stefanía Rós Th. Karlsdóttir and Stefán Óli Þorleifsson have partnered to take over the operations of Leikfangaland in Hafnarfjörður. They acquire the business from Ólafur Magnússon and Lilja Sigmundsdóttir.

The duo shares a long history, having met in primary school and previously worked together for seven years in the toy wholesale industry, including experience with the LEGO brand. Following the sale of Stefán’s family wholesale business in 2018, the two pursued different career paths before reuniting as business partners. Their new leadership aims to refresh the store, expand the product range, and enhance the shopping experience for families.
