Leila Gianni exits studio after confrontation with Esteban Trebucq

Leila Gianni, a councilwoman in La Matanza and leader of the Las Fuerzas del Pueblo bloc, engaged in a heated verbal confrontation with journalist Esteban Trebucq during an interview on LN+.

The dispute arose when Trebucq questioned Gianni regarding a photograph showing her in a protocol greeting with La Matanza Mayor Fernando Espinoza. Gianni denied any political alliance with Espinoza, noting that she had recently broken away from La Libertad Avanza due to differences with local leadership. She accused the journalist of attempting to manufacture a political connection between her and the mayor.

The exchange escalated with mutual accusations, leading Gianni to leave the studio. Trebucq suggested that Gianni would have to answer for certain allegations in court, to which she responded that he would also need to provide explanations to the judiciary.
