Leipzig City Council sets agenda for September 2026 assembly

The Leipzig City Council has released its agenda for the upcoming assembly scheduled for September 2 and 3, 2026. Key items on the agenda include the introduction of the 2027/2028 double budget and the budget structure concept for 2027–2031.

Additional business includes appointments for various district advisory boards (East, Southeast, Southwest, West, and North) and the Equality Advisory Board. The council will also address the election and dispatch of city representatives to various supervisory boards and associations, including the Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) GmbH and the Leipziger Wohnungs- und Baugesellschaft mbH.
