Leipzig introduces Electronic Official Gazette for municipal announcements

The City of Leipzig has introduced an Electronic Official Gazette (Elektronisches Amtsblatt) for official announcements. Published biweekly on Saturdays as an accessible PDF, this digital version serves as the legally binding edition of the Leipzig Official Gazette.

A print edition continues to be released every two weeks on Saturdays, alternating with the electronic version. This print edition is distributed free of charge to Leipzig households and is also available as a PDF.

Recent notices include planning for construction projects by Leipziger Verkehrsbetriebe (LVB) GmbH at Torgauer Platz, water inspections at Floßgraben and Lösegraben, and a call for bids to organize winter events at Augustusplatz from 2028 to 2032. Additionally, the city is launching a daily newsletter to provide updates on administration, culture, and politics.
