Leipzig Ostlichter Festival to host 110 events in 2026

The Ostlichter neighborhood culture festival in Leipzig is scheduled to take place from September 3 to October 4, 2026. Celebrating its 25th anniversary, the event will feature over 100 activities across more than 60 locations in the eastern part of the city.

The program includes a diverse range of offerings such as concerts, open-air cinema, theater, exhibitions, workshops, and neighborhood festivals. Under the format ‘Ostlichter – weiter ostwärts’, the festival will expand to include the districts of Baalsdorf, Mölkau, and Engelsdorf.

A joint project between Verein Mühlstraße 14 e. V. and the Leipzig City Cultural Office, the festival is designed to be shaped by local residents and is accessible via public transport or bicycle.
