Singer Leire Martínez has announced a special concert titled ‘La noche de aquella niña’, scheduled for April 17, 2027, at the Palacio Vistalegre in Madrid. This event will serve as the conclusion of her first solo tour supporting her debut album, ‘Historias de aquella niña’. The album, which features twelve songs exploring her personal history and identity through pop-rock, has already seen significant commercial success, ranking as the third best-selling album during its first week of release.
Following her departure from the band La Oreja de Van Gogh nearly two years ago, Martínez is establishing a distinct professional identity. She has recently addressed her transition to a solo career with irony in a new advertising campaign, emphasizing her decision to “go it alone” and trust her own creative process. Her solo journey includes international tour dates across Latin America and the United States.
