Leiria Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan undergoes public consultation

The Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (PMUS) for Leiria is currently undergoing a period of public discussion, which is scheduled to continue until September 15. The plan has been subject to various clarification sessions involving both institutional debates and citizen engagement.

A transportation specialist and researcher from the Center for Research in Territory, Transport and Environment (CITTA) noted that while the professionals involved in the plan's creation are competent, the public discourse on social media has often been characterized by superficial analyses and a lack of systemic thinking regarding mobility principles.
