Lejla Zahirović reveals familial connection to Lepa Brena

Singer Lejla Zahirović, a former participant in the music competition ‘Zvezde Granda’, has revealed that she is related to the prominent Balkan star Lepa Brena. Zahirović disclosed that Lepa Brena is her aunt, noting that their grandmothers were sisters, making them part of the fourth generation of their respective family branches.

Despite the familial link, Zahirović stated that she has never met the singer. She mentioned having contact with Brena’s brother, Faruk, and having met Brena’s son, Stefan, during a television recording. Zahirović expressed a desire to finally meet her aunt and acknowledged Brena’s significant musical career.
