Lekanazpi Association to host 30th Mycological Weekend

The Lekanazpi Association is organizing its 30th Mycological Weekend in Azoka, scheduled for October 2, 3, and 4. The event aims to promote mushroom education and interest through various activities, including exhibitions, tastings, and a competition titled ‘Upelgilearen Begia’.

Experts from the Aranzadi Science Society will participate, and the program includes a practical lecture by specialist Jon Ander Jaka and a guided mycological hike starting from the San Martin area.

This year’s event also includes a solidarity component, with proceeds from the ‘Perretxiko Solidarioa’ initiative being sent to Cuba.
