LeKastro’s “El Perdedor” hits number one on Dominican Salsa charts

The record label Mayimba Music announced that “El Perdedor” has reached the number one position on the Monitor Latino general Salsa chart in the Dominican Republic. The track is the second promotional single from the Aventura Tumbao project.

Performed by LeKastro, a Dominican-rooted artist raised in Brooklyn, the song is a salsa reimagining of an iconic Aventura bachata composition. Produced and arranged by Pedro Jesús, the version blends Cuban traditions with Bronx urban nuances. The project, Aventura Tumbao, pays homage to nine compositions by Romeo Santos.

Following the success of the first single, “La Curita,” performed by Ana Soto, LeKastro is expected to visit the Dominican Republic for a promotional tour involving live performances and media appearances.
