Leke Abejide pledges N500m for Kogi youth empowerment

Representative Leke Abejide, representing the Yagba Federal Constituency, has pledged N500 million toward a youth empowerment programme. The initiative aims to assist young people across 74 communities in establishing and expanding small-scale businesses to promote self-reliance, job creation, and economic development.

During a homecoming ceremony at Itodo Open Field in the Yagba East Local Government Area of Kogi State, Abejide also declared his political support for the 2027 general elections. He expressed his intention to back the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and the second-term bid of Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, citing the positive impact of their respective administrations on national and state development.
