Leksands IF secures fourth consecutive Hockeyallsvenskan victory

Leksands IF secured their fourth consecutive victory in the Hockeyallsvenskan season opener by defeating MoDo Hockey in Örnsköldsvik. Tyler Kelleher opened the scoring with a solo effort against his former club, which commentator Johan Tonberg described as a “class goal.”

Although MoDo's Carl Mattsson equalized shortly after, Leksand regained the lead through Carter Berger. The team extended their advantage in the second period with goals from Oskar Lang and Tyler Angle during a power play. Despite facing disciplinary frustrations and three consecutive penalties late in the second period, Leksand maintained a three-goal lead heading into the intermission.

The third period saw a physical confrontation between Åke Stakkestad and August Berg, resulting in a fight between the two players.
