LemFi expands into UK savings, credit, and travel eSIMs
Financial platform LemFi has announced its largest product expansion to date, transitioning from a remittance-focused service to a broader financial platform for cross-border residents. The company has rebuilt its application to integrate savings, credit, and connectivity services.
In the UK, LemFi is introducing an instant access savings account offering 5 per cent AER for the first six months, followed by a tracker rate linked to the Bank of England base rate. Deposits are held by ClearBank and protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £120,000. Additionally, the company is launching a revolving credit line via LemFi Credit, issued through Pillar, which is available as a virtual card on Apple Pay and Google Pay.
To support international travel, LemFi has introduced an eSIM service providing mobile data in over 100 destinations. The company, which currently serves over two million customers with monthly transaction volumes exceeding USD 2 billion, plans to expand these services to more countries next year.
