Lemgo opens registration appointments for future first-graders

In Lemgo, registration appointments are now being scheduled for future first-grade students. The official registration period for the 2027/2028 school year will run from September 28 to October 16, 2026.

Children who turn six by September 30, 2027, or those who were previously deferred from school attendance, are required to enroll. Parents will receive correspondence from their nearest school containing a proposed appointment. To register, guardians must present the child's birth certificate, vaccination record, and the original letter from the local school to prevent duplicate registrations. Appointments are held in the mornings and must be attended by the legal guardians alongside the child.
