Lemino to stream Korean drama starring Jung Yong-hwa in Japan

The Korean fantasy romantic comedy drama “Why Me, It’s You” (also referred to as “Because There is No Reason, It is You”) is set to begin exclusive streaming on Lemino in Japan on October 24, 2026. The series will be released simultaneously with its South Korean broadcast.

The story follows Oh Hye-ra, a chaebol heiress who wakes from a long coma believing she is the heroine of her favorite drama, and Ohm Tae-bon, a popular romantic comedy actor who refuses to film kiss scenes due to a personal secret. The 16-episode series explores the intersection of reality and drama as the two characters navigate an unpredictable romance.

The production features Jung Yong-hwa and Hong Seung-hee in leading roles, supported by Lee Yi-kyung and Park Yu-na. The series is directed by Yoon Jong-ho, known for “Lovely Runner” and “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God,” with music by director Kemi.
