In Cyprus, the Saint Apostle Andrew Temple in Plati Aglantzia will host the venerated relic of Saint Mary Magdalene from September 28 to October 4, 2026. The relic is being transferred for the first time to the island from the Holy Monastery of Simonos Petra on Mount Athos.
The arrival includes an official reception and a procession led by Hieromonk Gervasios and accompanied by priests from Mount Athos, with the Metropolitan of Paphos, Gregorios, presiding over the welcome. The relic will be available for veneration daily between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM.
