Lemoa hosts second Bizkaiko Erromeria Eguna festival

The second edition of Bizkaiko Erromeria Eguna was held in Lemoa, featuring Basque music, dance, and culture. Despite heavy rain, organizers utilized a contingency plan involving large tents in Arlonagusia and Herrigunea, as well as indoor spaces at the Casa de Cultura, to ensure the scheduled activities continued.

During the official inauguration, Leixuri Arrizabalaga, the provincial deputy for Basque and Culture, highlighted the importance of the pilgrimage as a fundamental element of local folklore. She also announced that the event, sponsored by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia, is planned to move to a different region of the territory next year.
