León hosts various music and cultural festivals in September

The city of León will host several musical and cultural events in September. Sonda Music 2026 is scheduled from September 2 to 6 as part of the ‘León, Cuna del Parlamentarismo’ Summer Festival. The program includes ‘Plaza Vinilo by Sonda’ sessions featuring artists such as Hardcobo, Free Agent, and Iván Microwave at various city plazas, and ‘Sonda Picnic’ at Quevedo Park on September 6, which will feature over 15 artists and community activities.

Additionally, the fifth edition of the ‘Compositores leoneses’ cycle, organized by the Instituto Leonés de Cultura and the Festival de Música Española de León, will take place from September 4 to 27. This series will bring free concerts to nine towns with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants, including Sahagún, Riaño, and La Robla. The program highlights both historical composers and contemporary works, including the premiere of five new pieces by Julio Aller, Jesús Nava, and Belén Ordóñez.
