León Provincial Council completes LE-4103 road reconstruction

The Diputación de León has completed the reconstruction and widening of the LE-4103 provincial road, which connects the N-6 at Ruitelán with La Braña. The project involved an investment of 300,019 euros.

The works focused on a 190-meter stretch that previously suffered from deterioration and instability. Technical improvements include widening the roadway to five meters, adding a 50-centimeter concrete ridge, and constructing a stone retaining wall exceeding four meters in height to stabilize the slope. Additionally, the project installed two transverse drainage structures using 1.20-meter diameter concrete pipes, new road markings, and metal safety barriers.

Executed by the company OVISA, S. L. between April and August 2026, the intervention aims to improve connectivity and safety in the rural areas of León, ensuring the infrastructure can withstand local weather conditions.
