León teams win dual championships in Torneo por la Paz

Teams from the Centro Estatal de Prevención y Reinserción Social (Ceprereso) in León secured both the men’s and women’s championships in the Torneo por la Paz. In the men’s final against Valle de Santiago, León won with a 3-0 score.

The goals were scored by Roberto in the 12th minute, Edu in the second half, and a long-distance shot by goalkeeper Ángel. For the participants, the tournament serves as a component of their social reintegration process. Edu noted that the sport is part of his preparation to return to his family, stating, “If we made a mistake, life always gives you second chances.”
