Lena Jaworska launches crowdfunding for diploma film

Lena Jaworska, a film directing student at the Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice, has launched an online crowdfunding campaign to fund her diploma film, ‘Wyrwizęby’. The project, which is set in the early 1970s and follows a mobile dental ambulance crew, requires 6,000 PLN to cover production costs such as fuel, equipment rental, and catering.

Lena Jaworska is the granddaughter of renowned Polish actors Krystyna Janda and Andrzej Seweryn. Her sister, Jadwiga Jaworska, initiated the fundraiser on a crowdfunding platform. Despite public speculation regarding the family's wealth, the sisters sought independent financing for the production. Krystyna Janda has personally contributed 2,000 PLN to the cause.
