Lena addressed the change by stating, “Because where would I be without her?” in reference to her mother. This move follows public statements from her father, Ivan Marinković, who indicated that his relationship with his daughter is irreparable and that there is no possibility of reconciliation.

Goca Tržan has previously commented on the family dynamics, noting that Lena has not seen her father for approximately ten years and emphasizing that she has never prevented contact between them.
