Lenovo and ASUS unveil new AI-integrated hardware at major tech shows

At major technology trade shows, Lenovo and ASUS have unveiled new hardware lineups focused on integrating artificial intelligence into professional and creative workflows.

During IFA 2026 in Germany, Lenovo introduced its refreshed Think family, emphasizing hybrid AI architectures that combine local device processing with cloud-based intelligence. A key addition is the ThinkCentre X Ultra, a compact desktop designed for agentic AI and multi-agent workflows. These systems feature AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO processors, support up to 128 GB of unified memory, and allow for clustering up to four units to scale computing power for larger models.

At IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, ASUS showcased its ProArt series tailored for creators. The lineup includes ultra-thin laptops like the ProArt P16 and P14, which feature OLED displays and are capable of running large language models with up to 120 billion parameters. These devices utilize NVIDIA RTX Spark technology and offer up to 1 petaflop of AI performance. ASUS also presented the ProArt GR1X compact desktop, which incorporates agent-based AI to support high-resolution video production and multimedia creation.
