Lenovo boosts gaming hardware with Esports World Cup partnership and Chile Legion launch

Lenovo announced that its Legion brand will serve as the official PC and gaming hardware partner for the 2026 Esports World Cup, scheduled in Paris from 6 July to 23 August. The company will supply desktops and laptops powered by Intel Core Ultra 200S processors, advanced cooling, high‑refresh‑rate displays and low‑latency peripherals for the tournament’s 247 teams competing across more than 20 AAA titles, with a total prize pool of $75 million.

Separately, Lenovo introduced the new Legion Serie 7 notebook line in Chile. The flagship Legion Pro 7 (16‑inch) features AMD Ryzen 9000 HX processors, up to an RTX 5080 mobile GPU, a 240 Hz PureSight OLED screen, Legion Coldfront vapor‑chamber cooling and Wi‑Fi 7 connectivity. Prices start at roughly 4.1 million Chilean pesos and can exceed 7 million pesos with higher specifications.
