Lenovo discounts IdeaPad Slim 3-15 and reviews Yoga Slim 7i Gen 9 laptops

Lenovo's IdeaPad Slim 3-15 is being offered at a deep discount by the Polish retailer x-kom. The original price of 2,999 zł is reduced by 300 zł, and a further 300 zł cashback is available until 19 July, bringing the effective cost to 2,399 zł. The 15.1‑inch notebook is equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 150 processor, 16 GB DDR5 RAM, a 512 GB SSD, Radeon 660M graphics, a 60 Wh battery and a 2560 × 1600 OLED panel that supports 165 Hz refresh, 500 nits brightness and 100 % DCI‑P3 colour coverage.

Separately, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Gen 9 (14‑inch) was tested in a review that highlighted its Intel Core Ultra 5 125H processor, integrated AI capabilities (about 10 TOPS), OLED display and lightweight aluminium chassis. The reviewer found the laptop performs well in single‑core tasks and everyday office work, while its AI‑related functions such as background blur and noise reduction are limited by low TOPS, leading to slow processing in applications like Adobe Lightroom. Compared with a newer Yoga model, the 2024 version still edges out the successor in multithreaded workloads. Overall, the Yoga Slim 7i Gen 9 is positioned as a capable, thin Windows alternative to MacBook Air for office and multimedia use.
