Lenovo expands ThinkPad lineup with new L16 and E16 models
Lenovo is expanding its commercial laptop lineup with the global rollout of the ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 and the US launch of the ThinkPad E16 Gen 4.
The ThinkPad L16 Gen 3 features Intel Panther Lake processors and offers up to 64 GB of DDR5-5600 RAM. Due to the power efficiency of the Panther Lake architecture, the device is rated for over 30 hours of battery life in official tests. The 16-inch laptop includes a 1200p IPS display and is available in various configurations across North America, Europe, and Asia.
In the United States, Lenovo has introduced the ThinkPad E16 Gen 4, which utilizes Intel Core Series 3 ‘Wildcat Lake’ processors. This model serves as a more affordable alternative to the Panther Lake and AMD Ryzen AI 400-based versions. While the E16 Gen 4 offers a lower entry price, it includes some hardware trade-offs, such as a single SO-DIMM slot for memory and Wi-Fi 6E connectivity instead of Wi-Fi 7.
