Lenovo launches Idea Tab Plus and Tab Plus Gen 2 tablets

Lenovo has expanded its tablet lineup with the launch of the Idea Tab Plus and the Tab Plus Gen 2, targeting mobile professionals and media consumers.

The Idea Tab Plus is designed for portability, featuring a 12.1-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 800 nits brightness, and 96% DCI-P3 color coverage. It weighs approximately 530 grams with a thickness of 6.29 mm. The device is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, offering up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with microSD expansion available. Productivity is supported through the Lenovo Tab Pen and a Folio Keyboard via a 3-point pogo pin connection.

The Tab Plus Gen 2 focuses on multimedia versatility, featuring a unique 360-degree rotating circular kickstand that supports four modes: lean, theater, stand, and hanging. It includes a 9-unit JBL Pro Speaker System integrated into the design to enhance audio quality. The tablet boasts a 2.5K LCD display with HDR10 support and a 120Hz refresh rate. It measures 278.8mm x 181.1mm x 6.8mm and weighs 775 grams.
