Lenovo launches Tab Plus Gen 2 tablet with nine JBL speakers and 360° kickstand

Lenovo has introduced the Tab Plus Gen 2, an Android tablet that combines a 12.1‑inch 2.5K 120 Hz display with a nine‑speaker JBL Pro audio array tuned for Dolby Atmos. The device features a built‑in 360‑degree rotating kickstand and can be used as a standalone Bluetooth speaker when paired with TVs, smartphones or other devices.

In Malaysia, the tablet is slated to hit retail shelves in September with a starting price of RM 2,099. The Japanese release lists a global price of $399.99 (about ¥65,000) and highlights a 10,200 mAh battery capable of around 15 hours of YouTube playback, MediaTek Dimensity 7400 processor, and 45 W fast charging.

The Tab Plus Gen 2 targets commuters and mobile professionals, offering high‑quality audio for calls and media while retaining tablet functionality for gaming and video consumption.
