Lenovo recognized for global disability inclusion efforts

Lenovo has been recognized as one of the world’s most inclusive companies for people with disabilities through the Disability Index, a benchmarking tool used by over 70% of Fortune 100 companies.

As part of its global Disability Advantage strategy, the company expanded its evaluation to eight markets: Argentina, Brazil, India, Japan, Mexico, Slovakia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Five of these markets—Brazil, India, Japan, Slovakia, and the United States—achieved an ‘Advanced’ competency level.

Regional implementations of the strategy include the use of interactive tablets with Brazilian Sign Language (LIBRAS) avatars at a plant in Brazil, physical facility restructuring in Mexico and Argentina, and AI skill training programs for over 1,000 youth with disabilities in India.
