Leo Edochie participates in invitational golf event at The Shire London

Nigerian celebrity golfer Leo Edochie recently participated in an invitational tournament at The Shire London, a prestigious United Kingdom golf course designed by the late Seve Ballesteros.

Edochie, the 54-year-old son of Nollywood actor Pete Edochie, stated that his participation aims to inspire younger generations in Nigerian cities such as Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, and Kaduna to pursue the sport. He also expressed a commitment to increasing women’s participation in golf within Nigeria.

Looking forward, Edochie announced plans for the Celebrity Golfer Leo Edochie Charity Golf tournament in Nigeria and intends to enhance the spectator experience for the Python Golf Club Open tournament in November, with the goal of making golf a major spectator sport in the country.
