Leo Encinas Cruz debuts in film alongside Penélope Cruz

Leo Encinas Cruz, the 15-year-old son of actors Penélope Cruz and Javier Bardem, has made his live-action film debut in the movie ‘La bola negra’. Directed by Javier Calvo and Javier Ambrossi, known as Los Javis, the film features Penélope Cruz in a notable supporting role.

While his appearance in ‘La bola negra’ is brief and does not include dialogue, it marks his first significant step in film acting. This follows his previous experience in the animation industry, where he provided voice work for ‘Toy Story 5’. His entry into the industry continues a family legacy that includes his parents, his aunt Mónica Cruz, his uncle Carlos Bardem, and his grandmother Pilar Bardem.
