Leo Sauer discusses transition to VfB Stuttgart

Slovak footballer Leo Sauer has discussed his transition to VfB Stuttgart following his transfer from Feyenoord Rotterdam. The 20-year-old winger noted that he was already familiar with the MHP Arena atmosphere, having played there previously during a Europa League match with Feyenoord.

Sauer expressed satisfaction with his first home match for Stuttgart against 1. FC Köln, stating it met his expectations. Despite high competition within the squad, he reported a welcoming atmosphere in the locker room.

Regarding his professional development, Sauer highlighted Kylian Mbappé and Bradley Barcola as players he closely studies to improve his ability to influence matches through individual actions and one-on-one duels. He is preparing for an upcoming Bundesliga match against Borussia Dortmund.
