Leolandia celebrates 55 years with over a million visitors and new attractions
Leolandia, a theme park near Bergamo, Italy, commemorated its 55th anniversary on 25 July, marking the milestone since its opening as Minitalia in 1971. President Giuseppe Ira highlighted that the current season is seeing higher attendance than the previous year, with the park attracting more than one million visitors during the celebrations.
The park attributes the growth to initiatives such as the Crazy Summer Nights, which extend opening hours to 22:00 on Saturdays, and a two‑day ticket that offers greater value. New investments are also being made to add more attractions aimed at older children while preserving its family‑focused identity.
